Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026. By using PLAB WEB you agree to these terms.

An independent guide

PLAB WEB is an independent educational website. It is not affiliated with the General Medical Council, UCAS, the UCAT Consortium, the UK Foundation Programme Office, NHS England, the NHS, any Royal College or any exam provider. Their names describe their services only.

No advice

The content is general education, reviewed periodically (each page shows its review date). It is not medical, legal, immigration, financial or career advice and may be out of date. Regulators change fees, exam formats, centres and eligibility. Always confirm with the official source before booking, applying or paying. Sample questions and stations are our own practice material, not official GMC material, and do not predict what you will be asked.

Sponsored content and affiliate links

Sponsored messages are labelled “Sponsored”. Some product links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission when you buy. Sponsors and retailers have no influence over the guide’s content and we do not endorse their products. See the privacy notice.

News synopses

News items are short summaries that link to the original publisher. They may omit important detail; read the original before acting.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account. You may sign in with a sign-in service you already use. Accounts store only a random public name, the sign-in link and the guide steps you mark as done. Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it at volume.

Our content

You may read and share links to our pages. Please do not copy substantial parts without permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on this site or for third-party sites we link to. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
