Respect is the starting point.
Share the learning, protect the exams.
Talk about study methods and publicly available resources. Do not post questions recalled from PLAB 1, PLAB 2 or any other exam, material from paid question banks, or anything that breaks an exam confidentiality agreement.
Keep people safe.
Do not post patient information, other people’s contact details, harassment, discrimination, sexually explicit material or personal medical, legal or immigration advice. This community is educational. It is not an emergency or clinical service, and nothing here replaces official guidance from the GMC, the Home Office or your own advisers.
Make your contribution count.
No unsolicited promotion, repeated posts, misleading claims, impersonation, external links or images. Do not offer or ask for paid exam help, certificates or visas. Use the report link on any post that worries you.
How moderation works.
You need an account to post. Automated checks hold back posts that break these rules, and every other post waits in a review queue until a moderator approves it. Moderators can approve or reject posts, lock discussions, remove content and pause accounts that repeatedly break the rules. You can follow the status of your posts in My submissions.
Your information.
Posts show your public username, which you can change in your account; please do not use your real name or email address. Approved discussions and replies are public and may be indexed by search engines. Reports and held posts are visible only to authorised staff. If you delete your account, your posts and replies are deleted with it. Read the privacy notice for retention, cookies and your data rights.
